Billerud Korsnäs Skärblacka: PM9 Air System Rebuild

The Billerud Korsnäs Skärblacka PM9 machine hall ventilation system needed updating due to insufficient hall supply air.

TM Systems and Billerud Korsnäs successfully finished a project, where PM9 machine hall ventilation system needed updating due to insufficient hall supply air.

A new supply air system and a heat recovery system were required to heat the supply air, achieve better hall air balance, and improve working conditions.

TM Systems provided additional supply air capacity and a new heat recovery tower. Furthermore, the wet end ventilation system was rebuilt.

The Client:

Billerud Korsnäs, Sweden

TM Systems provided

Machine Hall Ventilation and Heat Recovery

Benefits:

  • Increased energy recovery and energy savings.
  • Improved working conditions in machine hall.

How it works

Heat and humidity loads are reduced by using more efficient air systems.

The increased supply air capacity improves the air balance in the machine hall, ensuring a more stable and comfortable environment. The new heat recovery tower heats the additional supply air, enhancing energy efficiency by utilizing recovered heat to warm the incoming air.
