Optimize your drying process

Drying is one of the most energy intensive and often the most expensive process in many industries. This applies to drying of pulp, paper, fibers, and sludges among other media, and in all cases the energy required for drying is substantially higher than the energy needed for dewatering and pressing.

Here is an example from the pulp and paper industry: as much as 70% of the total energy is used for drying. Accordingly, as much as 70% of the GHG emissions is caused by drying.

Optimizing the drying process efficiently reduces the energy consumption and production costs and minimizes the carbon footprint.
